6-week Measurements!

Okay, all this talk about results and measurements got me curious... so I gave-in and measured myself this morning, at the six-week mark. I'm fairly pleased with the results... it's slow-going, but that was my decision overall. These measurements reflect six weeks of: BodyPump twice a week, DEX C20, Pilates for Abs (sometimes), and P.M. Yoga (at least twice a week). They also reflect semi-decent eating most of the time, and a few days + one weekend of eating whatever the hell I wanted! :)

Before & After (from top to bottom)-
Biceps: 11.5" to 12"
Breasts: 36" to 36" *no change... good ;)
Chest: 33" to 32.5"
Waist: 31" to 30"
Belly: 35" to 34.5"
Hips: 36" to 36"
Butt: 38" to 38"
Upper Thigh: 22.5" to 22"
Lower Thigh: 19" to 18"
Calf: X" to 14"

That's 3.5" loss overall!

Some comments... good inch-loss on the waist area right below the ribs! I could do better with my belly... meaning more Pilates for Abs. BodyPump has ab work, but only five minutes at the end. I doubt my hips will ever change... but that's okay. Also, great inch-loss on my lower thigh! I have noticed a lot of thigh improvement in that area. Keep in mind that I've had a lot of clearly visible muscle increase on my legs, so I don't expect that measurement to drastically reduce there. I gained 1/2 an inch on my Biceps, though! And I forgot to measure my calf the first time, so that's what the X means.

Hooray for progress!!!

Hi Becky...I started taking DEX as directed on Monday and have experienced MAJOR sleeping problems. The past couple of nights I haven't slept more than 3 1/2 to 4 hours and have felt like my heart is racing. I love that it suppresses my appetite, but am worried about my health. Did you experience any of this while your body was adjusting to the product? PS My friend is taking it too and is not have the same reactions.

Yikes! I have not had any problems with this... I did notice, when I first started taking it, that I seemed to need deodorant more often, if you catch my drift. But there's no caffeine or anything stimulant-wise in the Dex, so it's strange that you're having those symptoms. I'd suggest trying it for a few more days and see if it gets better. If it's hindering your health still, you'd better stop taking it. Good luck!

hi! This is in regard to the comment about not sleeping. I have been taking Dex-c20 for two months now. I take 1 before breakfast and 1 before lunch every day and have not had any problem with not sleeping. Try to change the time you take it before quiting it all together. I have lost 28lbs in the two months. It is worth sticking with it. Good luck to you both!!

I am on day 13 (did not take on Easter, forgot). I have lost almost 2 pounds, not really watching what I am eating, very, very little exercise. I feel it really is suppressing appetite. The only thing I noticed is dry mouth. I only need to lose 10 pounds, so I hope this helps. I started an exercise program yesterday, so I think this will jump start my weight loss.

Hello,
I want to start taking this product but have heard it does have a type of caffine in it, do you know if this is true. I cannot take any kind of caffine or any natural stuff that makes me jittery.I do weights 3 days a week and also do spin classes for an hour each time 3 days a week, I'm very active, and don't need to loose weight but would love to tone more and loose any stored fat.
Just afaid this might make me feel like I'm racing around and jittery.

Nope, this product has NO caffeine in it. I don't do any caffeine either... no coffee or energy drinks of any kind. It gives me headaches. Dex has other ingredients that act as metabolism boosters, though, which act like caffeine, but without all the jittery crap. I haven't noticed a huge boost in energy though, so the effects are minimal. Give it a try and see what you think! :)

Hello,
I wanted to let you know that I am trying the dex now, I started last Sunday, it's been almost a week now, and no side effects at all, not jittery one bit, I cannot take any caffine at all, so I know this stuff has NONE in it at all.
I do still feel hungry though, seems like I might start getting full at the end of my meal. But I do get hungry before mealtime too, it doesn't stop me from wanting to eat at all. I do feel a bit more energy too.
Do you think that longer your on it the better it will work???

Thanks again,
nita

You can definitely override Dex's effects... meaning you can still eat past the point of full. But it helps if you get fuller faster, to entice you to stop eating earlier than usual. I think the longer it's in your system, the better it'll work, so yes, keep taking it at least for a month, I'd say. Good luck!

Thanks again Becky.
I'm gonna keep taking it to see how it works the longer it's in my system. I love how there are no side effects.
I do work out 5 days a week, so I don't really have weight to loose but I feel as though I do have some fat stored I could get rid of, I would love to see if it really works on stored fat.

Keep me posted, Nita! :)

Hey Becky,
One more question. Have you ever thought about taking 3 a day, breakfast, lunch and dinner?? Or do you know of anyone who has tried 3 a day? Just wondering how that would work.

Heh, good timing, Nita! Actually I took three yesterday since I skipped this weekend...

My friend is taking three a day, too - the extra one before breakfast. I think it's completely fine, as long as you don't exceed 6 a day, like the bottle warns.

Thanks Becky,
Yeah I thought I might try taking one before the gym and breakfast in the morning.
But today is my first time feeling really full during my lunch, I could hardly finish it. It was a week on Sunday, and I also felt the energy feeling too. So maybe it will take the longer it's in your system the better it works.

Looking forward to hearing your updates.
So glad you have this going for everyone to read.

Nita :)
